This blog is to raise awareness of various aspects of HEALTH and healthy recipes. (Plus, I love reading blogs and thought it would be fun to write one!) I was reading a science magazine and decided to use a phrase that caught my eye – *A Happy Life is a Healthy Life*. Even though it may not be 100% accurate, it is best to strive for a nice balance of health and happiness! What can it really hurt, right? 🙂 BUT…after not feeling so comfortable with the title, I changed my blog title to *Whole Health ~ The Simple Way*. HEALTH, as a whole, should be simple and not overwhelming. Living healthy does make you feel happy though! I know I don’t feel so well if I don’t live a balanced life. Believe me! 🙂
To tell you the truth, I’m not a very creative writer. So, my blogs may be quite simple and short. My main goal is to empower you to make healthier choices in hopes of improving your quality of life. As you may know, many external factors may influence your health. These may be knowledge, attitude, beliefs, confidence, culture, and genetics. Hopefully this blog will help you modify your current health behaviors and make you THINK! 🙂
As you can see, I love to cook, bake, and prepare foods. Most of the recipes I’ve posted are quite simple! I love trying new ones, too! They are from various sources, which are posted. Anyways, I hope you enjoy all of them. We certainly do! 🙂
In the Fall of 2010, I completed my Bachelors of Science in Health Science as a Health Educator. In April 2011, I took my examination for my Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification, and passed. (Let me just say…I seriously thought I didn’t pass! It wasn’t easy!)
